    ***RARE*** VINTAGE 1960s UNITED AIR LINES HAWAII BUCKET BAG & MATCHING BIKINI SWIMSUIT
    Up for auction is this spectacular super rare vintage 1960s United Air Lines Hawaii bucket bag and matching bikini swimsuit.  Just look at the pictures and see how beautiful this swimsuit and bag are.  Back in the 1960s.  United Air Lines would give or sell these bucket bags with a swimsuit to travelers flying to Hawaii.  THE BUCKET BAG is made of a heavy vinyl material.  The top has dual ropes laced through metal grommets that can be pulled to close or cinch the top of this bucket bag.  A piece of cardboard is in side this bag so it maintains its shape.   You can just pull the cardboard out when you use this bag or even leave it inside.  THE BIKINI SWIMSUIT is made of a soft light fabric that appears to be a poly nylon type blend. . . it almost feels like there is some cotton as well but we are not sure as there is no fabric tag.  The bikini bottoms have an elasticized waist and elasticized leg openings.  THE TOP OR BRA has dual strings  that tie in the middle of the back and at the back of the neck.  The bottom of the bust cups are elasticized.  3 strings between the bust cups are also elasticized.  As the pictures demonstrate this bikini is in excellent vintage condition and ready to wear.  Most likely it has been only once or not at all.  The bucket bag has some minor cosmetic scuffing near the bottom.
