This is a 1978 10 cent nickel brass minted for Kenya by the Royal Mint, Llantrisant, United Kingdom. The coin has the first President for the Republic of Kenya Mzee (Father) Jomo Kenyatta.  President Kenyatta lead as an authoritarian leader that was known for rampant corruption during a long Presidency that only came to an end with his death in 1978.

I try to be accommodating for all buyers. eBay policy states that items are supposed to be paid within 48 hours, however I can make an exception to this for those with outstanding bids and in special circumstances.
It is important that you reach out to me if you have circumstances that are preventing you from making a timely payment or if you have outstanding bids that will soon close that you hope to benefit from my combined shipping discount because  eBay permits sales to be canceled for non payment after 4 days.   I only resort to this with customers who do not contact me or fail to respond to inquiries regarding payment.

I hate putting anyone's account in jeopardy, so please communicate with me if there is a payment issue or you are waiting on other items to close for possible combined shipping. Different items have different shipping prices.
You will be charged the highest shipping price for the heaviest item or if an item falls into a category that requires a higher class/cost of shipping.
All additional items will be charged at the second item price that would have been charged within that items shipping category.
Please contact me with questions or simply request an invoice.  Requesting an invoice will alleviate a lot of confusion because the eBay system sometimes miscalculates shipping. At times, I may elect to cap a customers shipping costs because I am not here to profit on shipping fees.
I do try to ship within 24 hours of payment provided it is not a weekend or federal holiday.  I do try to ship on Saturdays as long as I am able, however I am not required to do so according to my business terms with eBay.
International sales are gladly accepted and I have various shipping options available for you. I do combine shipments for international buyers so if you are selecting Ebay International Delivery, please message me prior to paying for your items. I will do my best to provide you with a cheaper combined shipping price if one is available.
If you accept my shipping, I will send you a combined invoice and send your items generally within 1 business day of payment.
Please note that international buyers are responsible to pay any duty or taxes placed on your shipment after it clears your countries respective customs.
Please review my photographs of all items. I shoot my pictures in a lightbox and I do not alter my photos except to crop them. If I use any other method or manipulate lighting to help highlight a detail I will always note it in my description.
I am not a coin expert and will not ever claim to be. The descriptions I use are broadly based on the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale, however unless a coin is certified and graded I will not list a numerical grade. My descriptions are simply my opinion. I am not an expert.
It is your responsibility to look at my unaltered photos and decide if you agree and place your bid accordingly.
Please do not give me a poor review or want a refund or a discount because you read my description and never looked at the photos.
This item is eligible to ship via eBay Standard Envelope (ESE) through USPS. eBay only permits this service for coins that sell for under .00 each with a maximum of 5 coins per envelope that do not exceed 3 ounces, or a total of .00.
Anything greater than that requires my standard shipping price of .00 for the first coin, however if any other coins sell for the eBay standard rate, they will only be charged as an additional item for $.50 each.
If a large numberof coins are ordered and they do not reach my free coin threshold of 0.00, I may at my discretion cap shipping charges or refund a portion of shipping.
I am not here to profit on shipping as many sellers choose to do.
Please note the following:
ESE allows me to offer you cheaper shipping costs for less money and still ship USPS First Class, however it comes with fewer tracking updates and relies strictly on USPS scanning only at its sorting facilities. I have found it to be a little less reliable than traditional First Class mail with standard USPS tracking. You may ALWAYS request regular USPS First Class shipping, but i will have to invoice you for the additional charges.   This listing is set by default to offer the ESE rate, but if you message me before paying I can adjust this.
