I'm in Love with this VINTAGE RETRO 1950s ORIGINAL ROSE MARIE REID Bathing Suit.
Romper Sheath Style with a 50s PIn Up Look.
LOVE the Fabric, VERY thick with Turquoise Blue Embroidered Cream Daisy Flowers.
Background is creamy with Turquoise embroidery.

Style and size tag reads: 273/54  Size 16/38 (hard to read 38 maybe 36)
Size 16 in the 1950s is much smaller than a size 16 today.
Measurements approx.
Bust 38"
Waist 29" to 30"
Hips 38"
Length from top of straps to bottom hem is 30" but can be changed due to shortening or adding to the strap lengths.
VERY WELL MADE WITH LOTS OF EXTRAS AND DETAILS.  Very Heavy Swimsuit.
There is a section with metal boning inside the back of the suit, it covers the zipper inside the swimsuit with hook and eyes to close. all on the inside of the suit.
There is boning on the lining of the bust, as shown.
Bottoms are lined with cotton and around the legs the lining has elastic to keep lining from pulling up and so nothing shows above the legs in water.
Wonderful Vintage condition, with just a few minor threads from the embroidered flowers have come undone. Mainly near the bottom, on butt and leg. (see last picture)
Traditional Adjustable straps that can also be crisscrossed.
