c.1898 Texas Jack Knife Advertising Circular Merit Blood Tablets Patent Medicine

Description

This is an original antique c.1900 patent medicine advertising circular for Merit Blood Tablets issued by the Merit Medicine Company of Cincinnati, Ohio.  This circular features an offer to purchase four boxes of Merit Blood Tablets for and receive a special premium of choice of either a straight razor, gold ring or Texas Jack Knife.   The Texas Jack Knife is illustrated and described as opening to 10 inches with “Large keen cutting, well tempered blades, fine stag handle, German silver bolsters and…brass lined”.
This circular is printed both sides and folds open to about 11.75”x  9.25”.  This circular isn’t dated but mentions the company was established in February 1898 and looks to be early 20th century.  Overall condition is very good for this antique original.  Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
