The stellite is laser welded to the tip favoring an optimal bond without weakening the body of the bar, as can happen with the gas welding process.
The super-strong alloy steel (molybdenum and chromium) gives maximum strength to the bar body and strength to the rails with excellent resistance to wear and chipping.
