American DJ Mace II professional lights, multi-color spinners, OLD SCHOOL DISCO!

Description

This is an American DJ Mace II professional lighting device, sometimes called “gyro copter” lights, it has two spinning balls that also rotate on a centered axis arm over the base. Bright colorful light projects out of the various lenses on the balls, as they spin/rotate. See long-exposure photos for a better idea of the appearance in action. You can also watch a couple of videos of the same product (not my videos) if you search for “mace ii light” on Youtube. This is genuine old-school disco technology!
No on/off switch, it just turns on when you plug it in. Uses two halogen bulbs, so make sure to run it a minimum of ~two minutes to prevent premature burn-out (see “halogen cycle” in Wikipedia for more info). Base can be mounted to DJ lighting-scaffolding or other surfaces. Can also just sit. Make sure to leave enough room for the full spinning circumference.
As with any halogen lamp, it runs hot. The motor, that spins the arms/balls, does make some whirring noise. If used with loud music, it’s not likely to be noticeable, but you shouldn’t expect to run this in your home “cave” while watching TV and not hear it.
